The Opportunity We currently have an opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator, to join our team at the Toronto Corporate Office, working in a hybrid environment. Soul Restaurants Canada—part of the Soul Foods Group family—operates 240+ restaurants across Canada. As we continue to grow through new development and acquisitions, we’re hiring a Marketing Coordinator to assist with campaign execution, POP & signage rollout, performance reporting, aggregator management, and local store activation across a portfolio of our brands.   • Our industry moves fast; you have a willingness to learn quickly, adapt to change, and demonstrate accountability in this role is valued by our organization What You’ll Do Primary responsibility is to assist the Marketing department in developing and executing projects to support our Burger King and Taco Bell portfolio. Campaign Execution, POP & Store Activation (50%)
  • Help to execute national marketing calendars across your portfolio.
  • Manage all campaign components: POP orders, menu updates, signage, vendor coordination & store communications
  • Assist with direct mail campaigns (digital & print), Soul Foods–exclusive promotions & local store marketing execution
  • Assist with marketing for new store openings & major renovations (3-3-3 model, LSM plans & launch reporting)
  • General administrative duties including file management, invoice processing, reporting and organization Reporting (25%)
  • Responsible for collecting and presenting data on sales trends, KPIs, LTO performance and channel mix
  • Assist with database management, filing and tracking of reports Aggregator Channel Performance (20%)
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with Uber Eats, DoorDash & SkipTheDishes
  • Help develop and implement Soul Foods–specific aggregator calendars & offers
  • Track performance and refunds Communications, Culture & Sponsorship Support (5%)
  • Assist with corporate storytelling across website & LinkedIn
  • Help coordinate local community partnerships and sponsorships Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of marketing experience in consumer retail or QSR, with a focus on brand marketing initiatives and project execution (excluding in-restaurant operations).
  • Creative thinker that is customer focused.
  • Must have good organizational skills, be detailed-oriented, and can prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Thrives in a highly fast-paced environment.
  • Proven Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to act as a liaison, work efficiently, listen effectively, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Takes initiative to work independently on day-to-day priorities and planning for future needs with a solution-oriented mindset. Ability to think ahead and anticipate issues, creative problem solver, and critical thinker. Education: Degree in Marketing preferred.

The ideal candidate will assist in all areas of marketing lead generation and marketing support. They will be comfortable in maintaining various marketing campaigns and have a creative skillset which enables them to brainstorm new initiatives.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain websites, newsletters, emails, social media campaigns Contribute to marketing and creative brainstorm initiatives Identify and propose internal/external ideas and initiatives to help promote general awareness of company brand

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 2 - 3 years' experience in marketing/brand management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Knowledge of all social networking platforms
