Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Safety Coordinator on behalf of an established industrial manufacturer in Central Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced operational and safety leaders while helping build and strengthen a positive safety culture.
What You'll Do Coordinate and support health and safety programs across a busy manufacturing facility. Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and hazard assessments. Participate in incident investigations and corrective action planning. Coordinate employee safety training and maintain compliance records. Assist with COR audits, WCB administration, and return-to-work programs. Support supervisors and employees in promoting safe work practices. Track safety metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environments. Working knowledge of Alberta Occupational Health & Safety legislation. Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience conducting inspections, investigations, and safety documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Standard First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain). Additional safety certifications such as NCSO, CRSP in progress, MHSA, Confined Space, or Fall Protection are considered strong assets.
