What You Can Expect Provide effective administrative support for the ENGIE Markham Office and Canadian Renewable operating sites in support of office personnel, other plant management and technical employees as needed.
- Assist with cost and procurement controls, budget preparation and review, resolution of billing, vendor management, reports and correspondence preparation.
- Serve as a member of the local safety committee
- Responsible for generating purchase orders to vendors and in assisting with the expediting and delivery of orders as required as well as close out of purchase orders.
- Produce documents and reports as requested by operational leaders.
- Assist supervisors in scheduling and coordination of travel arrangements.
- Maintains, monitors, and processes invoices and purchase orders, maintains inventory records for accounting related documents.
- Establish and maintain general administrative activities including timesheets, timesheet summaries, and recordkeeping activities.
- Maintain plant accounting activities.
- Coordinates with corporate human resources department to provide assistance as needed.
- Maintain routine plant operating logs and reports.
What You’ll Bring
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree plus 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, or
- High School diploma (required), plus five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Thorough knowledge of administrative and secretarial functions.
- Ability to use analytical judgment to plan and perform diversified work, making decisions within prescribed limitations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and take direction from others.
- Compliance with training / regulatory requirements.
