Key Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable with precision and efficiency.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Deliver monthly and annual financial statements, working papers, and reports with accuracy.
- Lead job costing and prepare work-in-progress (WIP) reports to track project profitability.
- Design and enforce strong internal controls and accounting policies to minimize risk.
- Implement and optimize financial systems (including ERP and payroll platforms).
- Partner with senior leadership to guide financial strategy with clear, actionable insights.
- Build collaborative relationships with vendors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure financial integrity and trust.
Requirements Must Have
- 8-10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
- Proven hands-on expertise in payroll, AR/AP, cash flow, and budgeting.
- Strong understanding of job costing, WIP tracking, and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills (including financial modeling).
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Nice-to-Have
- CPA designation or equivalent.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or project-based industries.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Viewpoint Spectrum, Trimble, or similar platforms.
- Track record of leading financial system implementations.
