Key Responsibilities:
As a Contract Administrator with M+B Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating projects. Your responsibilities include:

On-Site Presence: Independently attending site inspections, site meetings, or fire alarm verifications on project construction sites.

Detailed Reporting: Producing comprehensive inspection reports, verification reports, and meeting minutes with limited direction and assistance.

Building Assessments: Preparing building assessments and reports with minimal guidance.
-
Site Surveys: Providing electrical site surveys, information procurement, and organization for projects.

Effective Communication: Ensuring efficient communication and coordination among all project stakeholders.

Service Quality: Being accountable for delivering high-quality service on assigned projects.

Client Interaction: Extensive interaction with clients, vendor representatives, and project field personnel.

Client Satisfaction: Maintaining strong client relationships and high levels of client satisfaction.

Engineering Application: Demonstrating expertise in applying engineering principles to construction methods, materials, and economics.

Problem Solving: Performing assignments with minimal instructions and offering solutions to complex problems.

Mentoring: Providing technical direction and on-the-job training to drafters, designers, and engineers.

Client Engagement: Participating in job site visits, client meetings, and presentations.

Proactive Reporting: Keeping the project manager or designer informed about any developments that may affect projects or clients.

Technological Awareness: Staying up to date with the latest technological advancements.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Flexible Schedule: This role may require after-hours work, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as project workloads dictate.

Varied Locations: While most of the work will be office-based, there may be occasional travel to client offices, production facilities, or industrial/construction job sites. Conditions will vary, but the above-mentioned conditions will generally apply.

Calgary-Centric: Most work will be in or around the city of Calgary, with occasional travel outside of this area.

Driver’s License: Having a valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional use is an asset.
