Join our nursing team as a Casual Remote Area Nurse, working independently to provide primary care, emergency response, medication administration, and clinical assessments in a remote community. Onsite training and strong team support included.
About Our Client WorkPac Health and Social Care supports strong Primary Care and Emergency settings in remote Indigenous communities, fostering culturally respectful care and improving health outcomes in rural and remote regions.
What You Will Be Doing
- Deliver medication administration and clinical assessments
- Respond promptly to emergencies and trauma/injury cases
- Provide mens and womens health services
- Conduct broader primary health care and health promotion activities
- Work independently with minimal supervision in a challenging remote environment
What You Will Need
- Relevant nursing registration with AHPRA
- Experience in rural and remote primary health essential
- Remote Emergency Course (REC CRANA) or equivalent
- Midwifery Emergency Course (MEC CRANA) or equivalent
- Basic or Advanced Life Support certification
- Immunisation Provider Certificate
- COVID-19 vaccination records
- Current National Criminal History Check (SAFENT)
- Working with Children Card (NT Ochre Card)
- Current Drivers Licence (4WD essential)
- Stat Competency & Stryker Stretcher training
- Comfortable working in rural/remote Indigenous communities with cultural sensitivity
