Esports Content Creator - Student Work Study job opportunities open to
full-time Fanshawe College students who qualify for the Work Study Bursary program.
This opportunity is supported through The Work Study Employment Program, which
is designed to provide work opportunities to Fanshawe College full-time post-secondary or post diploma students with a demonstrated financial need.
Eligible Students
- Students at Fanshawe College must be a full-time registered student, and meet financial needs assessment criteria
*International Student must have a valid Work permit.
- Must be in good academic standing according to program requirements.

Successful candidates may be asked to apply to the Work Study Employment
Program. The Work Study Employment Program will help Fanshawe Student Union financially to employ students over the summer, fall, and winter term.
Contract - Temporary Part-Time (September 2026 - April 2027)
Up to 20 hours of work per week
- Must be in good academic standing according to program requirements.
Summary
The Esports Coordinator Assistant will support the daily operations and overall
development of the FSU Esports program. This includes assisting with team management, event coordination, league compliance, and scheduling. The role will also involve organizing the Esports room and supporting online and in-person events. The Assistant serves as a student representative of the program and plays an essential role in fostering a welcoming and organized community environment both online and on campus.
This is a part-time Work Study position designed for full-time Fanshawe College
students.
Job Duties
- Assist the Esports Coordinator with day-to-day tasks and assigned responsibilities
- Support team construction, league registration and compliance tracking
- Help organize and execute Esports-related community events
- Coordinate practice and match schedules with players and coaches
- Maintain the Esports room by managing equipment, organizing stations, and ensuring cleanliness
- Act as a student representative of the Esports program during in-person and virtual events
- Assist with the planning and delivery of on-campus Esports events and activities
- Communicate regularly with players, staff, and other departments to ensure smooth program operations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student approved for the Work Study program
- Experience with Esports in any capacity (player, coach, content creator, organizer, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude with the ability to problem solve in a professional environment
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Passion for Esports, its players, and its community
- Access to a reliable personal computer for remote work
- Experience working with live or remote production teams is an asset
- Maintains professionalism in all public and online appearances
