About the role
Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Develop communication strategies. Develop policies. Evaluate communication strategies and programs. Implement communication strategies and programs. Oversee the preparation of public written material . Prepare written material such as reports, briefs, website content. Publicize activities, workshops, meetings and other events for fundraising or information purposes. Supervise professional and support staff and students. Supervise staff. Train staff. Perform administrative tasks. Plan development projects. Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities. Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers. Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles. Answer written and oral inquiries. Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material. Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions. Gather, research and prepare communications material. Conduct analytical marketing studies. Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends. Design market research questionnaires. Develop portfolio of marketing materials. Evaluate customer service and store environments. Design, conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects. Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions. Develop marketing strategies. Ensure appropriate business/commercial licenses are in place. Maintain and manage digital database. Write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents. Schedule and confirm appointments. Establish and co-ordinate administrative policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with government regulations. Analyze incoming and outgoing memoranda, submissions and reports. Screening questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?. Do you have experience working in this field?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
