This role plays a critical part in shaping the software development strategy while ensuring the architectural integrity of systems used across various financial services. Accountabilities

• Design software architecture specifications to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Apply modern architecture principles and patterns including microservices and cloud-native.
• Leverage advanced technologies such as AI, blockchain, and cloud services.
• Improve and enforce software engineering standards and best practices.
• Mentor software engineering teams and cultivate a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Collaborate with product management and technology teams to translate market needs into software solutions.
• Research and evaluate new technologies for adoption and integration.
• Monitor software performance and address any quality or security issues.
• Document and present architecture and design to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in software architecture and design.
• Experience in Banking and/or Fintech is preferred.
• Proven track record in delivering scalable software solutions.
• Expert knowledge of programming languages and frameworks.
• Strong experience with modern architecture principles and patterns.
• Familiarity with technologies such as AI, machine learning, and cloud services.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Passion for learning new technologies and sharing knowledge.
