eCommerce Integration Coordinator
About the role
What you’ll do
As the eCommerce Operations Coordinator, you will be a key integration point between the cross-functional stakeholders who impact the Sport Chek eCommerce business, including Marketing, Promo, Pricing, and Merchandising. The ability to work cross-functionally through strong communication, facilitation, and project management skills is essential. The ability to manage competing priorities from senior leaders and work towards a consensus while evaluating the impact on the retail ecosystem when a change is made is critical to the success of this role. There is an expectation to be able to report on projects and initiatives and to use an analytical approach to determine success.
The eCommerce Operations Coordinator will be responsible for developing and streamlining resources using AI and technology. In addition to these responsibilities, you will support and optimize BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick Up In Store) capabilities across our retail stores nationwide. eCommerce experience, with an understanding of retail eCommerce. and the impact of requests, is crucial to the decision-making required in this role.
In this role, you’ll:
- Support the eComm Business Council, setting meeting cadence, creating agendas, and documenting decisions.
- Maintain a multi-year Strategic Roadmap and Scorecard for the eComm Business Council, tracking progress and adapting as required.
- Understand the impact that changes to eComm process or logic will have on other areas of the business, including stores and store labour, assortment planning, fulfilment costs, etc.
- Serve as a liaison between Retail Operations and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Promo, Pricing, eCommerce and Merchandising, facilitating collaboration and ensuring cohesive project execution.
- Act as a project manager and facilitator, moderating conflict and negotiating consensus.
What you bring
- University Degree in Business, eCommerce, or equivalent.
- 3+ years experience in Retail, eCommerce, or a project management role.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Co Pilot and AI considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interpret, manage and solve ambiguous asks or problems.
