Job Title: Education Consultant (Bilingual)
Job Status: 1 Temporary (until Oct 2027); Existing position vacancy

Reports to: Manager, Education Program
Job Level: 7
I. Job Purpose
Collaborates and consults with system partners regarding program approval, examinations, and Entry to Practice competencies within the Education Program. Facilitates the program approval process from development through evaluation.
Ii. Key Responsibilities
Facilitates Program Approval through development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of processes; monitors trends through data analysis and identifies issues and feedback for process improvement; collaborates with internal and external system partners on program processes and policies. Consults and collaborates with academic organizations to advance regarding CNO’s Education program including program approval, exams, and entry level competencies. Develops expertise in entry to practice examination methodologies and entry level competencies and facilitates processes to ensure effective and efficient operationalization. Monitor trends using data analysis, identify emerging issues.
Iii. Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
Graduate degree in Nursing or relevant field. Minimum 5 to 7 years relevant work experience in Nursing including 3 to 5 years working in nursing education. Current registration with CNO and entitled to practice with no restrictions.

Communication – Effectively uses a variety of communication tools to present education program information in a clear and concise manner; adjusts communication delivery when difficulty in understanding arises. Considers the impact and different viewpoints of others when sharing information. Consulting and Advising – Proactively seeks system partners’ feedback and provides consultation regarding CNO’s education program. Facilitates development of multiple plans to advance the program approval, examinations, and entry to practice agenda within the Education portfolio, address concerns and collaborates with system partners to identify system improvements for future implementation. Analytical and Critical Thinking – Uses advanced knowledge of entry level competencies, standards of practice, examinations, education programs, and relevant legislation to evaluate information on hand and synthesizes diverse information from multiple sources to administer and improve processes. Monitors trends through data analysis and leverages knowledge of previous similar situations to draw conclusions. Planning and Organizing – Manages projects related to the development and integration of entry level competencies and program approval process; develops, implements, and maintains complex work plans which may include legal consultation to ensure compliance with relevant legislation; uses effective time management strategies to manage competing priorities effectively in dynamic and ambiguous environments. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Hiring Range
$124,942.00 - $132,770.00
Full Salary Range
$124,942.00 - $149,930.00
