In a crowded security space of vendors, convincing Managed Service Providers to try yet another product can seem daunting. At ThreatMate we are not pushing another product that requires persuasion. Managed Service Partners understand they need some form of vulnerability management or attack surface management product in order to meet their and their clients’ Cyber Insurance requirements. It’s just a question of which platform they choose. This is where ThreatMate excels. The ThreatMate value proposition allows MSPs to grow their business, consolidate software platform license costs, while meeting the regulatory and insurance requirements of their clients.

ThreatMate was founded by a team of technology experts with backgrounds in DoD/National Security, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. The team previously founded and successively built companies that solved large-scale enterprise grade issues in cybersecurity and network management. With ThreatMate, our team is on a mission to bring enterprise grade cybersecurity and artificial intelligence to protect small and mid-sized companies from cyber threats through MSPs.

You will be joining ThreatMate at a unique time. The market for attack surface management tools is not only growing significantly, but it also presents significant blue ocean opportunities. While we displace competitors, we also empower MSPs with a platform to continuously manage the cyber risks of their clients’ networks.

Position Summary
At ThreatMate, we are looking for a Director, Customer Success to take ownership of how we support and grow our customer base. This is a key leadership role where you’ll guide the strategy and execution of customer success across our organization, ensuring our customers not only adopt but expand their use of ThreatMate’s solutions. You’ll lead a team, shape processes, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to create an experience that drives measurable outcomes for our customers.

What You’ll Do

Customer Success & Growth

  • Drive customer outcomes by ensuring adoption, expansion, and long-term value with our solution suite.

  • Define and deliver KPIs that reflect customer health, satisfaction, and retention.

  • Partner with Account Management to identify and act on opportunities for growth, cross-sell, and upsell.

  • Leverage data and insights to proactively identify customers at risk, mitigate churn, and create engagement strategies.

Team Leadership

  • Build a Customer Success program from the ground up focused on metrics of success.

  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence.

  • Champion a partner-first mindset, ensuring customer success is deeply integrated across the company.

  • Manage customer success managers as our customer base grows

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work closely with sales and engineering teams to create aligned strategies that strengthen customer outcomes.

  • Support the design and delivery of scalable customer success programs and experiences.

  • Contribute to broader revenue strategies by providing insights on customer behavior, product adoption, and retention.

Tools & Processes

  • Utilize ThreatMate’s existing toolsets like Pendo and Hubspot to drive efficiency, reporting, and customer health monitoring, and recommend others as required.

  • Create and lead training programs to elevate your team’s skills and product knowledge.

  • Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and long-term retention.

  • Explore how AI and automation can bring scale and insight into customer success initiatives.

About You

  • 5-10 years of experience leading Customer Success teams, ideally in a SaaS environment.

  • Strong ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • AI First mentality with proofpoints of AI use.

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to inspire, influence, and build strong cross-functional relationships.

  • Comfortable driving both strategy and execution, with uncompromising attention to detail.

  • Excited about continuous improvement, process innovation, and leveraging technology to scale.

  • Experience with Hubspot is a plus.
