Entuitive is looking for an Intermediate Engineer to primarily focus on structural design and evaluation of bridges. This role will include aspects of project delivery, production of structural documents, and construction administration. You will ensure all work is conducted in full support of our Vision, Mission, Values and One Company culture. Preliminary and detailed design for new bridges, culverts and retaining walls, and for the rehabilitation of existing structures. Conduct and oversee inspections of existing bridges, culverts and retaining walls and prepare reports. Preparation of contract specifications Preparation of structural reports Preparation of sketches for CAD technicians Supervision of bridge CAD technicians for production of drawings and project deliverables Mentor and supervise work of junior bridge team members Review of construction submittals and RFIs Liaise with contractors and owners during design and construction Complete site inspections during construction Analysis/design for bridge demolition and construction engineering What do you need to succeed? Undergraduate degree in Civil/Structural engineering from an accredited university Post-graduate degree in Civil/Structural engineering would be an asset 5+ years of experience in bridge design, rehabilitation, and/or bridge construction engineering. Conversant with CHBDC (CAN/CSA-S6), local bridge engineering standards, practices, policies and procedures. Licensed Professional Engineer in Province of Employment. Background in analysis and design of concrete and steel bridges Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., CSiBridge, SAP2000, Midas Civil, SOFiSTiK, etc.) and AutoCAD Be able to facilitate inter-disciplinary coordination and cooperation Ability to work in a multi-disciplined team environment Must demonstrate a collaborative attitude in working with others Knowledge and interest related to embodied carbon is considered an asset Proficient in verbal and written communication Why Entuitive?
