Position Overview We are looking to hire a part time on call individual for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join us! This part-time position involves working in our production area to clean up 3D prints, remove supports, pack shipments, maintain a clean work environment and perform other duties as directed by your manager. You will work closely with the owner and a production worker to ensure parts are processed efficiently and shipped to customers on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully remove supports and clean 3D printed parts without damage.
- Prepare and pack parts for shipment according to company standards.
- Pick and pack orders from shelves.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet company standards.
Potential Future Responsibilities As the position progresses, additional responsibilities may include:
- Tending to 3D printing machines, including setup, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Assisting with day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; some 3d printing knowledge is beneficial; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a consistent work process.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
