Position Overview:

We are seeking an intermediate-level Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our Digital Technology team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that leverage our Microsoft Fabric-based Data Lake environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to transform enterprise data into actionable insights, dashboards, and reports that drive informed decision-making.

This position offers the opportunity to work with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and modern data integration pipelines, contributing to our digital transformation and integrated enterprise data initiatives.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards using data from Microsoft Fabric Data Lake, on-prem SQL Server, and other sources.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines integrating ERP, CRM, LMS/EMS, and other enterprise systems.
  • Create efficient, scalable data models and optimize queries for performance.
  • Apply data governance and security best practices in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in building semantic layers and shared datasets for consistent reporting.
  • Enhance ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve BI-related data issues.
  • Stay informed on BI, Microsoft Fabric, and analytics advancements to recommend improvements.
  • Support self-service analytics adoption through training and documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience developing BI solutions, preferably in a Microsoft environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and DAX.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and star/snowflake schemas.
  • Proficiency in SQL with experience in query optimization.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems such as Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or LMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with data lakehouse concepts and modern ETL/ELT tools.
