JOB SUMMARY:

The Web & Marketing Coordinator at Boshart Industries plays a key role in maintaining and improving the company’s digital presence and product data systems. Core responsibilities include updating and managing content across multiple websites (Boshart.com, Accelerator, product mini sites, Plumbeeze, and others such as Contractor Elite and Boshart Exclusive), creating landing pages, fixing website bugs, and enhancing user experience through the proactive use of new tools and technologies.

The coordinator works extensively in our PIM system to manage product data, pricing, and part numbers, ensuring accurate flow to both the website and catalog. They maintain the Literature Library, technical documentation, and assets for product launches and cross-department initiatives. This role also supports troubleshooting in tools like the Customer Portal and Hubspot CRM, handles promotional materials, and contributes light graphic design. While email support may be occasional, the focus is on digital infrastructure, product data, and marketing systems.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBLITIES

Duties include, but not limited to, as follows:

PIM Management

  • Regularly update product data information in Boshart’s PIM (Akeneo)

  • Manage the data synchronization between PIM and website, catalog (InDesign)

  • If necessary, lead PIM integration and/or merge with Boshart’s ERP system (Microsoft D365)

  • Lead data (/website) migration from Plumbeeze.com to Boshart.com (training will be provided)

Web Design

  • Maintain all function of Boshart company websites including (but not limited to) Boshart.com, Accelerator, product mini sites, Knowledge Base, Plumbeeze, Contractor Elite, and Boshart Exclusive

  • Support Marketing department with special campaign launches, including creation of new landing pages, new product mini sites, and more

  • Liaise with web host company for any technical glitches, required plugin updates, and more

  • Develop, strategize, and execute new website technologies, plugins, layouts, and more as company continues to grow and customer needs develop

  • Maintaining all files with Boshart’s Literature Library; working with R&D to update new files and strategize best practices for layout and information access

  • Lead project on educational resource cross-pollination across all Boshart websites

  • Manage all website sign-up forms and direct inquiries as needed

Web Project Management

  • Identify, prioritize, strategize, execute, and troubleshoot entire web design projects from start to finish

  • Coordinate cross-departmental feedback and reviews on web initiatives

  • Spearhead the Website Customer Delight Committee by hosting regular meetings, prioritizing projects, and executing on them

  • Research and identify newest plugins, technologies, and more for website & catalog

  • Maintaining website plugins, sourcing new ones, managing Elementor, etc.

Web & Catalog Problem Solving

  • Identify weaknesses with current systems and research, test, receive feedback on, and ultimately implement new improvements

  • Make strategic decisions (that are aligned with departmental and Executive goals) independently and confidently

  • Develop unique and creative solutions to complex and nuanced problems that exist within website and catalog

New Processes Development

  • Across web & catalog fields, identify areas for improvement

  • Work with Marketing Supervisor & Marketing Manager to work through new ideas for website and catalog

  • Consider and, when appropriate, solicit customer feedback on newest updates to website for

Catalogs & Print Materials

  • Responsible for tracking catalog inventory, sourcing best vendor, assembling new print file, sending to print when necessary

  • Working with Customer Service and R&D in order to update catalog as needed

  • Assist Marketing Department with ordering & stock of other promotional products as needed

Customer Portal

  • Lead Customer Portal overall strategy and maintenance

  • Manage customer & sales rep access to Boshart customer portal

  • Troubleshoot user errors and account setup issues

  • Work with Business Systems team to test new features and implement

Graphic Design

  • Work within InDesign to update Boshart’s product catalog and to update categories as needed

  • Assist HR department with Boshart biweekly newsletter (as needed)

  • Update company internal TVs with latest company announcements and updates

  • Provide relief to Marketing department for additional graphic design work when needed

  • Design & implement downloadable marketing materials in efforts to collect user data

Marketing

  • Assist with all common Marketing duties (photo shoots, video shoots, trade show booth packing, etc.
  • Work with Marketing Supervisor to develop email blast content for all other general emails going forward

Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS, applicable legislation, regulations, statutes, and departmental policies/procedures/practices and operational guidelines.

Perform other related duties, as assigned, that are following job responsibilities and/or necessary departmental or corporate objectives.

CORE COMPETENCIES

Prerequisites

  • Complete comfort with Wordpress and Squarespace websites with demonstrable history of managing websites built on these

  • Technical knowledge in Plumbing, Water Well, Irrigation, Industrial, or Wholesale industries is an asset (otherwise will be trained on the job)

  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro

  • College diploma in a related field.

  • Proven experience in content creation and project management.

  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), trends and platforms.

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office programs.
