Senior Project Manager, Corporate Projects
About the role
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Director, Transition, this role is responsible for leading capital projects of varying size and complexity for Corporate Capital Projects and Facilities. You will support departments in formulating capital budgets, identifying locations for future facilities, developing project scope, leading the tendering process, and overseeing all aspects of project management for the construction and major renovations of all corporate facilities. You will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
As the Senior Project Manager, Capital Projects, you will perform the following duties, including but not limited to:

Manage new construction or major renovation projects for corporate facilities from planning and feasibility through to completion and occupancy.

Engage with stakeholders to establish project scope, manage communications, and identify risks and opportunities.

Develop terms of reference, manage and evaluate RFPs/RFTs, and oversee all vendor contracts.

Perform inspections, manage documentation, track budgets, process payments, and ensure compliance with legislation and safety standards.

Perform additional duties and undertake special projects as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional with a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, or a closely related field. Our ideal candidate has 5–7 years of facility/building and construction project management experience and possesses or is working toward a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, P.Eng., or OAA membership.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in stakeholder management, contract administration, and capital project delivery. We are seeking an individual with superior organizational and communication skills, a demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, and excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
The successful candidate for Senior Project Manager, Capital Projects will be required to work a flexible schedule, including in the office, remotely and after hours (as required).
This position offers a salary range of $115,114.52 to $143,893.16 plus a competitive benefit package.
Satisfactory passing of a criminal record check, and proof of qualifications will be required of any successful candidate(s) for this position.
