YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the Costume Operations Director, the Planner acts as an advisor in decision-making and aligning activities related to subcontracting of semi-finished goods and production planning. They also serve as a liaison between the textile department, subcontractors, purchasing department, and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of the supply chain. Their role includes MRP analysis, order management, manufacturing process optimization, and direct support for daily planning operations.

Key Responsibilities

Planning Department:

MRP Analysis and Order Management:

  • Convert planned orders into manufacturing orders.
  • Confirm and validate purchase requisitions (PRs) based on inventory levels, supplier lead times, and production needs.
  • Approve purchase requests and validate expressed needs to ensure the achievement of operational and financial objectives.

Cross-functional Communication:

  • Proactively identify and communicate production, supply, and capacity issues to internal stakeholders (purchasing, production, logistics, customer service).

Process Optimization:

  • Continuously monitor manufacturing routing times.
  • Recommend and implement adjustments to improve planning accuracy.

Operational Support:

  • Provide support to the planning team during peak periods or staff absences to maintain process continuity.

Subcontracting Department

Link with External Semi-Finished Goods:

  • Act as the operational contact for semi-finished goods subcontractors.
  • Maintain ongoing communication to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Participate in the identification, evaluation, and onboarding of new subcontracting partners.

YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE

  • College diploma in production management, logistics, or a related field
  • Significant experience in production planning, purchasing management, or subcontractor coordination
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and SAP
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Bilingualism (French and English) preferred
