The Role As an SMB Sales Representative, you will own the sales process for small and mid-sized hotel, motel, and resort properties. You'll qualify leads, conduct discovery calls, demonstrate our hardware and software solutions, and close your own deals while receiving mentorship and support from experienced sales leaders.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who wants to develop into an Account Executive and help build a growing company.
Responsibilities: Inbound Lead Management & Qualification Serve as the first point of contact for leads generated through marketing campaigns, website inquiries, partner channels, and our SDR team. Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs, challenges, and buying criteria. Qualify opportunities and guide prospects through the appropriate next steps. Place early-stage or unqualified leads into the appropriate nurture programs, including phone follow-up, email sequences, or direct mail campaigns. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and next steps in the CRM.
Sales Execution Manage the sales cycle for small and medium-sized hospitality customers from initial contact to close. Deliver virtual product demonstrations tailored to each customer's needs. Prepare proposals, pricing, and solution recommendations. Proactively advance opportunities through consistent follow-up via phone, email, and other channels. Independently close smaller opportunities while partnering with senior sales team members on larger accounts. Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
Pipeline Management & Customer Handoff Maintain an organized pipeline and provide accurate forecasting. Coordinate seamless handoffs to Customer Success and Implementation teams after closing. Ensure customers have the information they need for a successful onboarding experience. Deliver a high-quality customer experience throughout the entire buying process.
Qualifications and Skills 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or another customer-facing role. Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help customers solve problems. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes. Interest in technology, SaaS, and hardware solutions. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, and/or relevant sales certifications. Highly motivated, coachable, and eager to grow professionally.
Nice to Have Experience selling to hospitality customers. Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms. Experience conducting virtual presentations and product demonstrations.
What We Offer: $50-60K CAD salary and commissions. Remote work with an allowance to set up your perfect workspace.
