This modern, neighborhood 100 seat restaurant and bar features a menu with a modern twist to classic North American cuisine along with inspiring and global dishes. We are looking for an experienced Bar Lead to contribute to the development of this concept.
We have strong values and believe in developing our people to succeed and grow. This position is the ideal opportunity for an experienced bartender looking to grow into leadership.
Please note that availability for Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays are a pre-requisite for this position.
Job Summary Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will:
- Bartend and Serve on the floor as required during peak times, particularly sports events, concerts and other local attractions
- Assist in inventory management and order preparation for liquor, wines and beers
- Maintain and update bar recipes
- Assist in creation of seasonal cocktails and wine list updates
- Build a community/neighborhood following with memorable customer experiences
- Prepare daily reports for the General Manager and Company Leadership team.
Qualifications Possess a minimum of 2 years previous bar and restaurant experience - previous supervisory experience is an asset but not required.
