About the role
GFL Environnemental est à la recherche d'un chauffeur Classe 1 FM pour compléter notre équipe de Lévis pour de la route longue distance! Du découchage en semaine est requis pour ce poste, du lundi au vendredi, pour se rendre jusqu'à Fermont à chaque semaine pour faire la collecte de 10 à 15 clients par semaine.
Responsabilités Principales
- Conduire un camion-boîte fermée et/ou tracteur et remorque;
- 60% de conduite de véhicule et 40% de travail manuel;
- Manipulation et récupération de contenants divers;
- Compléter différents documents administratifs;
- Respecter les normes en Santé, Sécurité et Environnement de la compagnie.
- Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes.
Exigences requises:
- Posséder un permis de conduire valide classe 1 FM (obligatoire) ;
- 5 ans d'expérience en transport routier classe 1;
- Expérience de minimum 1 an en transport de citerne;
- Avoir de bonnes connaissances en mécanique de véhicule lourds;
- Bonne maîtrise du français écrit et parlé;
- Excellente condition physique, bonne endurance, capacité de soulever des charges (environ 50 livres) ;
- Disponibilité à découcher du lundi au vendredi
- Autonomie;
- Axé sur la santé et la sécurité.
Environnement de travail:
- Poste permanent offert à temps plein, dont l'horaire de travail est de jour (début à 6:00 am), du lundi au vendredi.
- Éligible au temps supplémentaire après 40 heures seulement.
- Route longue distance pour ce rendre jusqu'à Fermont, et faire la collecte chez 10 à 15 clients par semaine (découchage du lundi au vendredi)
- Conduite manuelle majoritairement
