Job Description:
This clerk records and maintains control of all purchased and produced inventory items.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Compile records from ordering, shipping and receiving materials.
- Update information on the computer to maintain inventory records.
- Assess stock supply and reorder status.
- Assist in preparing and verifying the requisition of additional stock items using the appropriate forms or systems.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with established internal control procedures.
Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to learn and follow procedures. Requires accurate and efficient record keeping and verification of inventory changes.
