We are currently seeking a full-time Vigilance & Medical Information Associate to join our team!

Hybrid role, on-site requirement 3 days/week

Location - 165 Galaxy Blvd., Toronto ON (Pearson Airport Area)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Vigilance and Medical Information Associate reports to the Manager, Vigilance and Medical Affairs in the Scientific Affairs department.

This position assists the Manager, Vigilance and Medical Affairs and Senior Associates, Vigilance/Deputy National Safety Officers with drug safety case processing, evaluation, reporting, record keeping and quality control in accordance to Health Canada guidelines and global vigilance requirements.

The Associate performs medical information activities for Fresenius Kabi Canada pharmaceutical products, and makes optimal use of professional knowledge and experience in providing the most current information concerning the use of Company products. Strong communication skills are essential in providing information and guidance in a timely and concise manner to best meet the needs of staff members or customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum university undergraduate degree in Pharmacy/Life Sciences
  • Minimum experience of three years in vigilance/medical information
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with safety case processing (both clinical and spontaneous)
  • Knowledge of relevant Health Canada regulations and ICH guidelines pertaining to PV and risk management plan
  • License in good standing in the province to practice as a health care professional is preferred
  • Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Experience with the Adverse Reaction Information System Global Database (ARISg) is an asset
  • Bilingual in English/French an asset
