We are hiring experienced Floral Designers!
Job Summary
We are a busy private downtown floral studio with no walk-in customers. We are looking for someone to join our permanent Floral Design team. You will primarily be making daily floral orders in our downtown studio, as well as A La Carte wedding and event orders. You will NOT be responsible for administrative tasks, answering the phone, or communicating with customers.
We are looking for energetic and reliable team members who are eager to learn our unique floral design style. We provide extensive training to all of our designers, no matter how much prior experience they have. Therefore, we are looking for someone who wants to join us for the long haul.
We are looking for someone:
- With a *minimum of 2 years of experience *working as a floral designer
- With a great eye for design and colour palettes
- Who is a team player
- Who has a positive, upbeat attitude
- Who likes to hustle and hates being bored!
- Who is comfortable lifting 25+ lbs

About Wild North Flowers
Our goal is to make ordering flowers online easy and enjoyable.
Using 100% local flowers, we design and deliver seasonal arrangements throughout Toronto and the GTA. Our design style is natural and elegant, with that "fresh from the garden" look. We buy directly from local growers so our flowers are always super fresh. To cut down on waste, instead of having dozens of options, we offer a limited number of curated daily designs. We are committed to giving back to our community, and partner with a different local charity each month.
How are we different from a typical retail florist?
For one, we don't have a storefront. To maximize on efficiency, we sell primarily online. We offer free next-day delivery in the City of Toronto, and GTA delivery for $12!
Two, we only source local flowers. We purchase 100% Ontario-grown flowers and Canadian-grown foliage, meaning that your bouquet is designed using only the freshest, most seasonal product. Local flowers support sustainable growing practices, use less fuel for transport, and encourage equitable conditions for growers and support local communities. Plus, they last much longer! It's a win-win.
Thirdly, when you send someone a Wild North Flowers bouquet, you'll receive a photo of the actual bouquet that was designed for your order, as well as notification of delivery. You will never again have to wonder what the final product looked like, and if you got what you paid for, because you'll have photographic evidence to save and share.
