Relocation Services is not available.  Your Responsibilities As an EH&S Specialist for John Deere Specialty Products located in Langley BC, you will:  

Lead a manufacturing team's Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems Move to and Maintain an ISO 14001 :2015 Environmental Management System at a small manufacturing location Assist in planning, designing, implementing, evaluating, and leading health and safety management programs and processes Support strategic and tactical plans as required to meet company goals around compliance and injury reduction Conduct periodic inspections, risk assessments and self-assessments Assist in corrective action development and safety education and training What Skills You Need 3 or more years of experience applying occupational safety and/or environmental governmental/agency regulatory requirements or legislation 3 or more years of practical application of environmental programs, occupational health principles, occupational safety programs and ergonomic principles, and the ability to apply to workplace environments 3 or more years of executing processes for periodic inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action assurance, safety and environmental education and training 3 or more years analyzing appropriate safety and health metrics to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement 1 or more years of experience in the Occupational Safety and Health or environmental profession in a manufacturing or industrial environment What Makes You Stand Out Knowledge of manufacturing processes, factory operations, and warehousing Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution CRSP designation Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following
