Position Summary At HomeEquity Bank , we help older Canadians live with dignity and independence—while staying in the homes they love. The Manager, Nurture Marketing is responsible for developing and optimizing marketing strategies that engage prospects throughout the purchase funnel on the Consumer Growth Marketing team. This role manages automated and personalized nurture programs across channels such as email, SMS, and direct mail to drive conversion and funded volumes. Working closely with internal teams and cross-functional partners the Manager ensures a seamless and compliant customer experience. The Manager will collaborate closely with fellow marketing managers and the director to align strategies, share insights, and coordinate efforts that collectively drive conversion and measurable growth.

MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE Nurture Strategy & Planning

  • Design and implement multi-channel nurture programs that guide prospects through the purchase funnel and increase conversion to application and funding.
  • Align communications with business goals and customer journey insights to maximize engagement and impact.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate nurture strategy into broader marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Partner with stakeholders and the digital product owner to support the product roadmap and MarTech enhancements (e.g., SFMC).

Program Execution & Optimization

  • Manage email, SMS, direct mail campaigns using segmentation and personalization to improve performance.
  • Test and implement new tools, techniques, offers, and A/B strategies to optimize content, cadence, and overall program performance.

Performance Analytics & Reporting

  • Ensure measurement and optimization of campaigns to meet defined key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead progression, and funded volume contribution.
  • Continuously optimize nurture strategies based on data insights and learnings.

Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure communications meet regulatory standards and data integrity best practices
  • Stay current on lifecycle marketing trends to guide continuous improvement.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Collaborate with internal teams (brand, growth marketing, Contact Centre, Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Systems, referred marketing, product, sales) to align nurture efforts and support conversion objectives.
  • Manage vendors and partnerships to ensure the successful implementation of campaigns and ensuring the effectiveness of ongoing programs
  • Manage a high performing team of direct report(s) if applicable.

Budget Management

  • Oversee digital marketing budgets, media buys, and ROI.

Qualifications SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or nurture marketing—ideally in financial services or a regulated industry.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud), segmentation, and personalized communication strategies.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing principles and KPIs, with the ability to connect email and lifecycle initiatives to measurable outcomes such as conversion, revenue, and funnel performance.
