Position: AI & Digital Innovation Associate, Surgical Vision

Reporting To: Marketing Manager

Role Overview The AI & Digital Innovation Associate will develop strategies to enhance AI integration, driving efficiencies through a data-driven approach. Key responsibilities include identifying processes to implement AI capabilities such as product forecasting, generating market insights, customer and patient education strategies, commercial messaging, and process excellence. The AI & Digital Innovation Associate will collaborate with the commercial team to generate relevant insights, build KPIs, and tailor strategies for the Canadian marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, development, and implementation of innovative AI tools to support business priorities within the cataract portfolio.
  • Maintain high integrity and self-motivation while leveraging strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, education, and digital.
  • Build and sustain relationships with global partners and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Assess and review AI capabilities and integration processes to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Create tools to support the use of AI capabilities across the business.

Qualifications & Skills

  • University degree.
  • Proven experience in AI implementation and execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and customer-centric skills.
  • Strong judgment, decision-making, and leadership capabilities.
  • Experience working within agile or scrum-based teams is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and insight generation.
  • Experience in joint value creation is preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
