Role Description The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This position is responsible for coordinating daily transportation schedules, managing inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring timely deliveries. The role includes monitoring warehouse activities, supporting inventory control, and optimizing the use of dock-level doors for efficient loading and unloading. The Logistics Coordinator will communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues, update shipment statuses, and maintain accurate documentation. The role also involves assisting with process improvements, supporting compliance with company policies and safety standards, and contributing to overall service quality. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to track shipments, assess logistics performance, and support problem-solving in daily operations. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers, and to maintain clear, accurate documentation. Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to respond to client inquiries, handle issues professionally, and support positive long-term relationships. Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to support stock accuracy, monitor storage usage, and assist with regular counts and reconciliations. Candidates should possess Supply Chain Management knowledge to understand end-to-end logistics flows and contribute to efficient, cost-effective operations. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in transportation or warehousing, proficiency with logistics or ERP software, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment. A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is an asset, as is prior experience in a coordinator or similar role.
