As a Road Logistics Operations Care Coordinator, you’ll be at the center of our national overland operations. You’ll manage planning and dispatch activities, coordinate with carriers, and ensure our customers receive best-in-class service. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving logistical puzzles with precision and care.
How you create impact
- Review and process client shipment requests via online systems, email, and centralized dispatch tools
- Enter and manage orders in our Transportation Management System (TMS) with high accuracy
- Tender shipments to approved carriers and monitor progress through to delivery
- Maintain real-time tracking and tracing updates in the system
- Provide Proof of Delivery (POD) documents when required
- Engage with carriers to ensure optimal service levels and competitive rates
- Administer carrier pre-qualification and compliance processes
- Investigate and resolve service issues and customer complaints
- Collaborate closely with Customer Care teams to meet and exceed client expectations

What we would like you to bring
- Degree in International Business, Logistics, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or transportation, including Canada/U.S. trans-border movements
- 2+ years in freight procurement
- Strong knowledge of road freight operations, pricing, and carrier networks
- Diploma or degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred
- Professional accreditation (CIFFA, CITT, P.Log) is beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
