We are currently seeking a 310T Mechanic to join our growing operation in Marathon. SOUTHLAND Transportation offers an opportunity that is always exciting and allows for a good work-life balance. We offer personalized training, competitive wages, and flexibility within your personal life.
The shift for this position is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with overtime and weekends as needed.
Wage: $40.00 - 43.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities The Mechanic is responsible for servicing/repairing company buses in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
- Ongoing maintenance/repair of buses
- Diagnose equipment problems
- Brake and Safety Inspections
- Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs
- Respond to breakdowns
- Spring and winter maintenance
Requirements
- Licensed Mechanic – 310T
- Safety Inspection License
- Experience working with Fleet Management Systems is considered an asset
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Own hand tools
- Valid driver’s license
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Computer and diagnostic equipment skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills and well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal)
