The Opportunity:

We're looking to fill an opening for a Manager, Business Performance Analytics to join the Business Management team.

Reporting to the Director, Business Management, the Manager, Business Performance Analytics is responsible for creating effective and consistent reporting, including reporting to manage risks and issues while improving team communication and collaboration.

With a strong ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, provide leading & lagging indicator reporting to SOCON management, while tracking and analyzing results using a variety of dashboards and reports the Manager, Business Enablement will act as the subject matter expert for the divisional & KPI reporting.

What your day looks like:

  • The lead in managing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements to be delivered by the Business Management Team
  • Provide timely, accurate, and relevant information to enable decision making and support desired business outcomes through dashboards and digital reports
  • Seeks opportunities working with DNA Team to automate repetitive reporting processes, while supporting the development of operational & quality improvement for data, tools and processes to advance insight generation
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all main data sources, classifications, etc. for the data used within the SOCON Team and enhance the team’s ability to effectively utilize their data
  • Demand management – working with DNA Team reviews intake for reporting requests from SOCON stakeholders, in tandem develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs
  • Data and dashboarding knowledge management
  • Builds reports and visualizations to effectively communicate data driven insights to users for a variety of audiences i.e., data into reports, graphics, dashboards to illustrate facts, trends and insights.
  • Develops strong business partner relationships to foster understanding of key drivers and metrics to ensure disclosures effectively communicate results- Responsible for SOCON OKR’s, KPI reporting at a minimum monthly
  • Working with Business Management leadership, contribute to the design, development and distribution of management reporting
  • Review results of service level and volume forecasts, identifying discrepancies and performing root cause analysis
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • Post-secondary education in business and/or financial administration is preferred

  • 2-3 years financial services experience is required

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and technical skills

  • Possess the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be accountable for performance

  • Outstanding customer service skills and dedication to providing and exceptional client experience

  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to proactively identify issues, understand the business impact, identify solutions and provide recommendations

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Must be a self-motivator and self-starter

  • Focus on quality

  • Exceptional listening and analytical skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a face paced team environment

  • Embrace change and successfully set and adjust priorities as needed

  • Advanced in Microsoft Office

  • Fluency in English is required, and bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $93,000 - $113,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
