Job Title: Contract & Grant Coordinator (Administrative Support) Client: Government of Alberta – Education and Childcare Category: Non-IT (Admin/Clerical) Location: Forestry Building, 3rd Floor, 9920 – 108 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T5K 2M4 (Onsite) Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch) Hours: 36.25 hours/week Contract Extension: Up to 12 months

Job Summary
The Contract & Grant Coordinator provides administrative support for contract and grant activities, including: Preparing, reviewing, and tracking contracts and agreements Supporting procurement activities Maintaining financial, statistical, and administrative records Tracking records using Microsoft Excel Proofreading and formatting Microsoft Word documents Coordinating approvals, signatures, and document control Responding to internal and external stakeholder inquiries Monitoring deadlines and contract deliverables Supporting invoicing, accounts receivable, and compliance activities Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems Coordinating meetings and taking meeting minutes Providing general office and administrative support Assisting with team projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
High School Diploma/GED 3+ years of: Administrative support experience Microsoft Word proofreading and formatting Paper and electronic filing systems (ProLaw or similar) Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Excel (basic functions) Printer/copier/scanner operations
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Office Administration diploma/certificate/degree 2+ years of: Meeting coordination and minute-taking Vendor invoice validation using SAP/1GX or similar ERP Microsoft SharePoint Contract documentation coordination Alberta childcare grant funding program experience
