Based at Place Longueuil and reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, the Commercial Property Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all activities related to property management to ensure its physical and financial condition, while maintaining a harmonious relationship with tenants.
- Manage vendor accounts, tenant billing, building-related operating expenses, supplier invoicing, and recurring payments;
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the buildings;
- Manage critical equipment and infrastructure;
- Oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment;
- Be accountable for building operations;
- Provide excellent customer service;
- Prepare and manage operating budgets, monthly analysis reports, and service contracts;
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of systems, equipment, and buildings;
- Build strong tenant/manager relationships to support smooth operations;
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing all their requests;
- Manage incidents, ensure compliance with company and industry standards and protocols, oversee safety, and supervise building operations technicians;
- Provide consulting services on projects, investment planning, and budgeting related to building operations;
- Ensure systems are maintained or upgraded according to industry best practices and manufacturer recommendations to prevent or quickly resolve system failures, thereby avoiding service interruptions and losses;
- Perform any other related duties.
Qualifications:
- Hold a university degree (Bachelor’s level), preferably in engineering, urban planning, or architecture, or possess equivalent experience;
- Have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in a similar role;
- Hold one of the following certifications: CFM, FMP, or RPA;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Strong knowledge of Yardi software (an asset);
- Familiar with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and have participated in its implementation;
- Solid understanding of accounting and budgeting processes
