About the role
Manager, Campaign Analytics
Purpose The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic, innovative team that supports the Campaign Analytics functions within Scotiabank’s Canadian Bank Analytics group. This individual will be focused on maximizing the impact of our targeted marketing efforts by providing meaningful insights and analysis to our partners on campaign performance.
What will you do in this role?
- Provide insights and recommendations on marketing initiatives within Canadian Banking to business line and marketing partners.
- Analyze and synthesize large data sets to identify trends and opportunities based on a customer-first approach to driving acquisition and engagement
- Partner with business line and marketing teams to define and size the target audience opportunity
- Provide Pre-Sizing, Segmentation and Response Forecasting to inform campaign design and drive efficiency
- Optimizing Customer & Channel Allocation based on customer behaviour, preferences and prior results
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to define KPIs and benchmarks for campaigns and create reporting to track performance
- Pre and Post Campaign Deep Dives – Going beyond offer acceptance and analysing performance using channel data, utilization, stickiness, cost of acquisition, revenue etc. to quantify the true impact of marketing campaigns.
- Analyze campaign outcomes to identify drivers of success or underperformance. Present and share results and insights with stakeholders and maintain strong lines of communication
- Working in breakout squads collaboration with marketing, execution and business lines with to identify new opportunities to drive better customer experiences
What you'll bring?

Experience working with large data sets and relational databases and SQL skills (Python, Google Cloud Platform, DB2 etc.)

Experience with analytical tools such as Python / SAS / Google Cloud / Power BI

Experience with targeted leads/campaign execution and segmentation an asset

Experience working with multiple business partners and delivery timelines

Analytical background with a quantitative focus, such as statistics, applied mathematics, economics, computer science

Self-motivated, strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, a high aptitude for problem solving and a natural interest in understanding customer behavior

Strong Communication and collaboration skills

5+ years of related experience needed, preferably within a banking or retail industry
