We are hiring to fill a vacant Accounting Technician position. We are the premier professional services firm, in the heart of rural Ontario, caring for our clients and caring for our team. - Support: You are a part of a team; we openly collaborate with each other. We look for innovative practices and technologies to ease work and have the support of accounting professionals in-house.
- Balance: You’ll have reasonable core hours and the ability to condense your work week from July to December. During the firm’s busy season (Jan-April), overtime up to 50 hours per week is required, which results in additional paid time off in lieu to be used in the off season.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure all required documentation and details are in place electronically for their colleagues to begin file preparation.
- Review prior year end file, collect and track incoming client information, scan or enter into CaseWare.
- Communicate and follow up with clients, banks, lawyers, etc. to request any missing source documentation.
- Other administrative duties and projects, as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Working towards, or successful completion of, related post secondary diploma would be beneficial, but is not required.
- 1 year of related work experience.
- Self-motivated, hardworking and driven to succeed with strong attention to detail.
Pay Range: $48,089 - $56,575 annually, 37.5 hours per week
