About the role

The Regional Sales Director (Senior Channel Manager) is a key role within the Ascom Partner Program, responsible for managing and expanding relationships with strategic partners, developing and executing sales strategies for Channel Partners (Resellers), and delivering against agreed sales targets to contribute to overall regional sales goals. This role involves representing Ascom through a range of products and services, with a potential focus on specific solutions or product sets in partner vertical markets. Focused on the hospital, health authority, and long-term care sectors, the RSD accelerates business growth by relentlessly pursuing new opportunities, empowering resellers, and deepening client relationships. The RSD inspires partners to win new business and deliver exceptional service, forging influential relationships that drive sustained success and market leadership.

The Regional Sales Director (RSD) is a dynamic sales leader, relentlessly driving new business opportunities and expanding market presence. This role is focused on actively prospecting, engaging, and converting new customers within the hospital, health authority, and long-term care sectors. as well as with Architects, Engineers, and consultants.

The RSD drives business growth in the hospital, health authority, and long-term care sectors by generating new opportunities

Develop mutually agreeable revenue expectations with assigned distributors and manage them on the timeliness, quality, and development of new opportunities in their pipeline for fulfilling their targeted revenue goals.

Actively developing sales relationships with the hospital, health authority, long-term care sectors, as well as with Architects, Engineers, and consultants

Continuously keep accurate pipeline and forecasting margin of error +- 10%

Provide assigned distributors with assistance on product knowledge, system design, quotes, RFP responses, and any other items to assist them in their selling process

Your competencies should include:

Microsoft 365 knowledge and use.

CRM system ability to run reports, generate opportunities, contacts, etc.

Effective relationship management

Understanding the wireless communications platform and clinical solutions environment.

Negotiating and problem-solving skills

Ability to travel
