About the role

Change Management Consultant (Training & Change)

Location: Remote (Ontario preferred; must be able to work EST hours) Employment Type: Contract (40 hours/week) Contract Term: August 2026 – March 31, 2027

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Change Management Consultant to support the training workstream of a large-scale Payroll Modernization initiative. This role is focused on process and role-based training, supporting organizational change through the development of high-quality training materials and knowledge transfer activities.

The successful candidate will work with a collaborative change management team to develop engaging learning content and support Train-the-Trainer (TTT) initiatives. While Dayforce system training will be delivered by specialized trainers, this role will focus on helping end users understand new business processes and role impacts.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct training needs analysis for business process and role-based learning. Design and develop instructor-led and virtual training materials, participant guides, job aids, and supporting documentation. Create process-focused learning content for a large enterprise transformation initiative. Support Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions. Collaborate with change management, business, and project stakeholders to validate training content. Incorporate stakeholder feedback and continuously improve training materials. Support learning readiness and knowledge transfer activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in training development, instructional design, learning, or change management. Experience developing training materials for enterprise transformation or large business change initiatives. Experience conducting training needs analysis and developing role-based/process-focused learning solutions. Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience supporting Public Sector projects, preferably within training or organizational change. Experience related to HR and/or Payroll business processes. Must be eligible to obtain PSPC Reliability Clearance.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Federal Government HR or Payroll modernization experience. Active PSPC Reliability Clearance. Active Secret Clearance. Bilingual (English/French).
