About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with advanced foot care certification to join our interdisciplinary health team. The Foot Care Nurse will provide client-centered foot care services to community members, including those with diabetes, circulation issues, or other conditions affecting foot health. The role includes direct clinical care, health education, and working collaboratively with other providers to support holistic and preventative care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based basic and advanced foot care to clients.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized foot care treatment plans.
- Educate clients on proper foot health, self-care, and prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in the EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals to coordinate care.
- Participate in outreach and health promotion initiatives, as needed.
- Adhere to infection prevention and control standards and organizational policies.
