Summary You will be working within an on-call Windows/Linux support team, in the support of various customer solutions within a secure environment. Any automation, AI or cloud skills will be an asset in future proofing the environment.

A Government of Canada PSPC security clearance at level SECRET (Level II) is required for this position. Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage Windows/Linux environments to ensure high availability
  • Manage and configure Virtual Server Environments (VSphere, MS Hyper-V or Openshift)
  • Vulnerability Investigation and Remediation
  • Experience with administering NetBackup and RSA
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to create documentation and a proficient communicator
  • Proficiency in Windows, Linux and/or Unix
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycles
  • Ability to learn new development languages and techniques
  • Canadian Secret Level II Security Clearance

Critical Qualifications

  • Experience with Ansible Automation
  • Develop and administer security policies and procedures
  • Manage user authentication and security on the network
  • Engage with 3rd party vendors on product support issues and escalation procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • One or more years of experience as a Systems Administrator in a Windows/Linux environment
  • Windows Server 2022, 2019, and 2016 administration experience
  • Linux RedHat RHEL8-10 experience
  • Certificate Authority Administration experience
  • Hardware knowledge/Certification for Cisco UCS Servers
  • SAN (Dell Storage, Netapp and 3PAR) Data Management, cloud and switched fabric knowledge/ experience
  • Software development skills and experience in languages that includes PowerShell, Python, Perl, C/C++, etc.
  • Experience with version control systems
  • Experience in the Change Management Process
  • Microsoft MCSA or MCSE (preferably Server Infrastructure)

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
