The Cash and Carry Associate will assist customers by educating them on our products and services, answering questions, taking and entering orders, utilizing & maintaining multiple software applications including online order guides and basic troubleshooting, interacting and working with Bunzl’s internal team including sales, service, procurement, warehouse & shipping, and management etc. as required to ensure our customers’ needs are met.

Shift: 11.00AM - 4.30PM Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a welcoming environment by greeting all customers as they walk through the doors
  • Providing a positive customer service experience by being fair and friendly and answering customer questions
  • Keeping up to date with all collections, product information and promotions
  • Maintaining check in and check out operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes
  • Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock by maintaining clear records on all inventory
  • Maintaining relationships with the other departments in the organization and seeking help when needed
  • Maximizing sales opportunities to achieve store targets

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 20 – 30 lbs.
  • Strong Computer Skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows-based software
  • Minimum 1-2 years previous customer service experience
  • Problem solver with the ability to multi-task using judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
