Urschel Canada, based in Vaughan, provides local sales, service, parts inventory, and testing to support Canadian food processors.</p><p> </p><p><strong><strong>The Role</strong></strong></p><p>We are seeking a <strong><strong>hands-on Warehouse Supervisor</strong></strong> (not a people manager) to manage day-to-day operations in a small parts warehouse. This is a <strong><strong>high-ownership role</strong></strong> focused on execution, organization, and continuous improvement.</p><p> </p><p><strong><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Manage all warehouse activities: receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and controls</li><li>Organize warehouse layout and optimize storage/slotting</li><li>Process orders and support backorder management</li><li>Ability to navigate an ERP system, to make stock adjustments, review orders & review data</li><li>Ensure compliance with health & safety standards</li><li>Build and dismantle shipping crates using power tools</li><li>Operate material handling equipment for larger machine crates (forklift, etc.)</li><li>Support light assembly and occasional lab activities</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></strong></p><ul><li>3-7 years of <strong><strong>hands-on warehouse experience</strong></strong> (parts distribution preferred)</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently</li><li>Experience with ERP/WMS systems and shipping processes</li><li>Comfortable using <strong><strong>power tools</strong></strong> and</li><li>Operate material handling equipment</li><li>Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs</li><li>Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>Ability to travel to the USA for additional training</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><strong>Compensation</strong></strong></p><ul><li><strong><strong>$27-30/hour</strong></strong> (higher wage for highly experienced candidates)</li><li>Benefits and RRSP matching after probation</li><li>Monday-Friday, 40-hour work week</li><li>2 weeks (10 days) vacation in addition to company observed holidays.</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Founded in 1910, Urschel Laboratories is a 116-year-old company overseen by the 4th generation of the Urschel family and recognized as the global leader in food cutting technology.
