About the role
As a key member of the Lexus of Calgary team and reporting to the Sales Manager, the Digital Inventory Merchandiser will support the sales and marketing teams in presenting new and pre-owned vehicles online, representing a world-class leader in the automotive industry.
Lexus of Calgary is seeking the next great team member to join the team as a full-time Digital Inventory Merchandiser at the Calgary location.
Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Digital Inventory Merchandiser, this individual will play an important role in showcasing our new and pre-owned vehicles online through high-quality photography and accurate, compelling vehicle descriptions while supporting the sales and marketing teams in maintaining an engaging and professional online inventory presence.
Major Responsibilities:
- Capture professional-quality photographs of new and pre-owned vehicles from various angles.
- Edit and retouch photos to enhance their visual appeal.
- Write informative and engaging vehicle descriptions that highlight key features, specifications, and benefits.
- Keep track of the current inventory and update the website listings promptly.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand their requirements and provide support for promotional campaigns.
- Ensure the accuracy of vehicle information, including pricing and availability.
- Combination of inside and outside work
- Drive all types of vehicles safely and attentively
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Continuous Learning & Improvement:
- We are committed to continuous learning and development. Training is provided through employee orientation, role-specific training programs, self-assessments, coaching sessions, and hands-on demonstrations with managers to support employee success and career growth.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2 years Canadian driving experience.
- Previous experience in photography and writing product descriptions is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in using photography equipment and photo-editing software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Basic knowledge of automobiles and their features is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada by any employer.
Working Environment:
-This role requires the individual to work the following schedule:
- Monday -Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
