Including co-ordinating, record keeping, planning and organising. Assist in coordinating and organizing safety training for SMS and Occupational Health requirements (e.g. hearing testing, fit testing)Regularly monitor Aviation Safety and HS&E Training completion data.Support and organize applicable safety meetings.Record meeting minutes Safety Review Boards and Safety Action Group meetings within the Aviation business.Generate and reconcile purchase orders for Safety & QA Department.Assist with records related to workplace inspections & audits.Provide administrative support to Babcock’s health and safety committees.Assist in administration and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – BC OnlyAssist with the administration, document control and maintenance of, MySDS, Air Maestro and SharePoint.Assist with coordination and organization of annual drills (fire drills, spill drills, ERPs)Perform other duties assigned by management. The ideal candidate brings: Being flexible, able to adjust to multiple demands or shifting prioritiesDetail oriented and organized with accurate record keeping and data entry skillsEffective organization skills and a desire to handle administrative dutiesAdvanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Confidence in utilizing various software applicationsEffective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsDiscreet and able to securely handle confidential informationAbility to carry out day to day tasks with minimal supervision or directionAbility to work collaboratively with management at different levels within the organizationAbility to establish and build healthy working relations and partnerships with management, coworkers, contractors, clients, vendors and related stakeholdersA diploma level education in Business Administration, Health, Safety and Environmental or any other relevant diploma.2+ years’ work experienceA background in Aviation Safety and HSE is preferred but not requiredEligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance Babcock is committed to promoting a workforce without boundaries.
