Adecco is actively seeking an experienced Field Supervisor - Elevator to oversee new installations and modernization projects in Ottawa, ON. This role ensures projects meet company and customer standards for safety, quality, cost, and performance while leading, coaching, and mentoring field teams. The Field Supervisor will play a key role in project delivery, financial oversight, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

• Pay Rate: $110k-$140k/year.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor field employees by providing guidance, feedback, and training to support development.
• Promote adherence to company standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
• Identify training needs and deliver technical and safety training to employees.
• Monitor employee performance, approve time tickets, and manage vacation schedules.
• Investigate workplace incidents, ensure proper use of PPE, and support safe return-to-work programs.
• Manage new installation and modernization projects within approved budgets.
• Allocate manpower effectively to optimize productivity and business outcomes.
• Oversee job completion checkpoints and apply corrective actions to meet performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and government regulations.
• Conduct field audits to monitor quality, safety, and completeness of work.
• Review tooling requests and implement where necessary to improve efficiency.
• Address customer concerns promptly, ensuring clear communication and professional service.
• Build strong relationships with customers, inspectors, and union representatives.
• Demonstrate value to customers by ensuring projects meet expectations and budgets.
• Influence external stakeholders to resolve disputes effectively.

Requirements:

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred.
• 3-5 years' experience in the elevator industry or a related field involving capital equipment installation and supervision.
• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to mentor, coach, and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent communicator with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and a collaborative team player.
• Flexible to meet business demands, including varied work hours.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Project software.
