WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Complete construction projects ensuring the health and safety of our tenants and employees.
• Projects include in-suite renovations, exterior siding, windows, roofs, boilers, common areas etc.
• Create Capex scenarios and reports as needed.
• Project Manage Building Upgrades under $1,000,000.
• Tendering / preparation of RFPs.
• Complete municipal building and development permits where required.
• AFE & Purchase Order Approval Process.
• Construction Management & Progress Inspections.
• Procurement - vetting of new contractors and suppliers.
• Provide Contract Admin team with information required to create construction agreements for all work being awarded.
• Operations Support.
• Other internal projects as required (change management, IT).
• Provide weekly updates on projects to stakeholders.
• Coordinate project activities with both our field staff and Calgary head office.
• Additional duties as required.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

• 3-5 Years experience executing upgrade projects on Multi-Family Apartment buildings.
• Construction estimating or site-supervisor experience.
• Experience with the full project life cycle of building upgrades from planning through to completion.
• Experience managing roofing, siding, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, balcony, carpentry and interior renovation projects.
• Experience working with municipal authorities.
• Expect to spend 25-50% of your time travelling to our buildings across our portfolio.
• Ability to manage a large volume of small projects in parallel.
• Exceptional problem-solving capability.
• Ability to work outside of normal working hours as required.
