About the role

Infosys is seeing a Test Analyst with Selenium, API Automation experience.

In the role of Test Analyst, you will act as an SDET Lead / Consultant and single point of contact for driving Quality Engineering directly with clients in a multi-vendor environment. Expect you to have strong Test Management Skills, Automation Skills, Test Strategizing. You will conduct due diligence of AS-IS state and analyze the current QE challenges and propose TO-BE state. You should come up with QE solution including Automation approach and roadmap for moving to TO-BE state. Location for this position is Mississauga, ON or Calgary, AB. This position will need employees going to Infosys office per policy.

Qualifications
Basic

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of **Mississauga,Ontario/**Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.

  • At least 3+ years of Information Technology experience in Software testing (STLC, Automation scripting and Testing, Building on Frameworks Test Strategizing)

  • At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in Selenium/Appium for UI/Mobile Automation and Postman (equivalent tool) for API Automation.

  • Have working experience in Telecom domain

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Canada Infosys locations or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to Infosys office.

  • Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle

  • Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.

  • Should have hands-on experience of Test Management Tools like JIRA, ALM, qTest, Zephyr, etc.

  • Should have strong skills on Defect Management & Triaging

  • Should have strong skills on communication and willing to work in a client facing environment

Preferred

  • At least 2+ years of Telecom Experience - Preferred

  • Good hands-on knowledge on Automation Framework Development

  • Experience in

    • Problem Solving
    • Test Strategizing & solutioning
  • Excellent Client liaison skills for leading and driving the Quality Engineering track.

  • Coordination with multivendor teams’ environment

  • Excellent communication and client interfacing skills – should possess the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:

Ontario: $ 66183 to $ 79913
