###About The Position

We’re looking for an energetic, detail‑drivenPeople & Culture Coordinatorto help support the full employee lifecycle across all Concorde Group venues and brands. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you’ll play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, performance programs, and the continuous improvement of our people processes.

###What You'll Do

Recruitment, Onboarding, & Retention

  • Support hiring across all venues by managing our talent acquisition system, screening candidates, and preparing employment agreements.

  • Coordinate interviews and act as the point person between hiring managers and applicants.

  • Coach managers on recruitment best practices, delivering in‑person or virtual training as needed.

  • Ensure new hires have a seamless onboarding experience through our digital platform.

  • Keep job templates and hiring documents accurate and up to date.

  • Represent Concorde at hiring fairs, especially within local culinary schools and programs.

  • Provide guidance on select temporary foreign worker programs such as Francophone Mobility and IEC.

  • Support senior leadership in enhancing our employee recognition initiatives.

  • Facilitate recurring training sessions with new and established leaders on interviewing, retention, coaching, and more.

  • Lead and support the bi‑annual performance review cycle, ensuring consistency and compliance.

People Administration & Process Improvement

  • Support ongoing improvements to People & Culture processes by managing small projects, training stakeholders, and implementing organizational changes.
  • Build and deliver reports through people analytics tools to help leaders make informed, data‑driven decisions.
  • Manage People‑related inquiries through our HR ticketing system, elevating or redirecting as appropriate.
  • Assist with payroll administration, ensuring employee changes are accurate and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain HRIS accuracy by updating employee data and conducting routine audits.
  • Advise venue leaders on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Jump in wherever needed to support the P&C team and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

###What You Bring

  • 2–3 years of experience in HR coordination, administration, recruitment, or a related role.
  • Post‑secondary education in Human Resources or related field is a strong asset.
  • Progress toward a CPHR designation is an asset, not a requirement.
  • Experience supporting a multi‑unit or multi‑brand organization is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with UKG Pro (Recruitment, Onboarding, HRSD, People Analytics, LMS) is an asset.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a strong eye for detail.
  • Ability to analyze and solve both technical and conceptual challenges.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Understanding of Alberta employment legislation.
  • High integrity, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential matters.
  • Strong computer literacy with MS Office and other business tools.
