Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge business needs and technical solutions within a busy and fast-paced systems team. This is an important role that is ideal for a detail-oriented, confident and proactive professional who thrives on translating complex business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications for developers . The Business Analyst will work across departments to define, plan, and support implementation of technology initiatives that improve efficiency and support strategic objectives.

What Will You Do?
Requirements & Analysis
- Lead the collection, analysis, and documentation of business requirements and workflows.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, technical requirements, and configuration instructions.
- Conduct fit-gap and impact analyses to assess system readiness and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Use AI-assisted documentation and data analysis tools to accelerate requirements gathering, root-cause analysis, and validation activities.
Solution Design & Delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and vendors to design and implement effective system solutions.
- Prepare project plans, timelines, and feasibility studies; support business case development and cost-benefit analyses.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage issue tracking, resolution, and release readiness.
- Leverage AI-based testing and automation tools by defining acceptance criteria, guiding QA activities, and reviewing test results to ensure solution quality and alignment with business requirements.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Support software procurement activities, including RFP preparation, vendor evaluation, and contract follow-up.
- Facilitate ongoing system updates, change management, and user communication.
- Promote adoption of AI-enabled collaboration and documentation platforms to improve knowledge sharing and decision support.
Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide post-implementation support, user training, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot application issues, track enhancement requests, and maintain system configurations.
- Conduct market and product research to recommend modern technologies and AI-powered process improvements.
What You Will Bring:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in business systems or technology-focused business analysis roles.
- Proven track record supporting system development lifecycles (SDLC), particularly in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
- Familiarity with data-driven systems, reporting tools, and cloud or ERP environments (e.g., Yardi, Acumatica, or similar).
- Exposure to AI-driven data analytics, documentation, or automation tools (e.g., Power BI Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, or equivalent).
- Experience in construction, real estate development, or property management industries — particularly with operational or financial systems — is a strong asset.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong understanding of system design, data flows, and integration concepts.
- Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred).
- Solid foundation in project management principles and change management processes.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to identify and safely apply AI capabilities to accelerate analysis, automate reporting, and enhance decision-making.
Salary Range:
$87,000 - $100,000
