About the role
- Support the Combat Management System 330 (CMS 330) Operating Environment
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for relevant system design areas
- Support software development teams with build and support tools
- Design next generation of system architecture for Government of Canada (CANADA)
- Support development team with build related issues
- Develop new systems for development operations and security
- Reports to the program team lead
- Working in an Agile team environment.
What you bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma from an accredited university or college in a related discipline or real world experience
- Have an aptitude for solving Information Technology (IT) problems
- Willing and able to support schedule including evenings and weekends, as required
- Willing to learn new skills as required by position
- Have an aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environment
- Eligible for NATO Secret clearance in a timely manner.
- Have a security-first mindset
- Have a high degree of initiative and autonomy
- Have an understanding of Linux based Operating System (OS) configuration
- Have an understanding of Windows System administration and automated deployment
- Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret security clearance and Canadian Controlled Goods (CG).

- Full Stack Engineering Experience
- DevSecOps Engineering Experience
- System Design and Architecture Experience
- Familiarity with CANADA’s certification and accreditation process for Classified systems
- Familiarity with Build Tools (Git, Svn, Jenkins, Groovy, Ansible, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as code methodology and development
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodology is considered an asset
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with BASH
- Familiarity with Java and C++
- Familiarity with Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
- Active NATO Secret security clearance is considered an asset.
