About the role
Overview Internship of four (4) months duration - September to December 2025. Kruger Energy is seeking an intern to join the Operations team. The Operations team manages day-to-day activities (inspections, maintenance, major projects, etc.) across several hydroelectric, wind, solar, and battery sites.
The intern will be based at Kruger Energy’s head office in Montreal.
While the intern will primarily work in Montreal, occasional travel to production sites in Quebec and Ontario may be required.
Responsabilities
- Support the team in implementing the training plan for Canadian sites;
- Develop procedures and work instructions related to site technologies;
- Create theoretical and practical exams using training software;
- Update documents related to the competency plan;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a university program in industrial engineering or a related field;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, MS Project);
- Availability to travel to sites as needed;
- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
Knowledge of English is required for this specific position as Kruger deals with partners across North America and the successful candidate will be required to communicate frequently with them. Kruger has taken all reasonable steps to avoid imposing English language requirements, including assessing the actual language needs associated with the duties to be performed, ensuring that the language skills already required of other employees were insufficient for the performance of those duties, and limiting as much as possible the number of positions with duties requiring English language skills.
